Brother and Sister Blue Knights;
I want to thank each and every one of you, who supported the Seventh Annual Blue Ride. We had another successful year. Even though we got rained on, it did not take away from the great food and fellowship after the ride.
I want to recognize my committee members that served this year. They are Mike Booker, John Sheldon, Bob McKivitz, Mark Harmon and Mark Pasquale. To all the members who helped with the set up before the ride on Friday and Saturday, you made my job a lot easier.
The motorcycle raffle was a huge success again. To those of you who sold tickets and had others sell tickets I applaud your efforts. I would like to congratulate Brother Steve Pitzarella for selling the winning ticket. You see, good things come to people who make an extra effort. Paul Campbell in Canonsburg who owns Campbell’s Towing won the motorcycle.
It appears that this year’s ride raised more money than last year. I do not have the final total, but hope that I will at the August regular meeting. I have said this in the past and this ride just helps to reinforce my opinion. We have the best and most active Blue Knights Chapter in southwestern Pennsylvania
